Julie – Finance/Patient Relations Administrator
Julie has been with Grove City Family Dentistry since 1996, and in the dentistry field for almost 30 years. She is our patient/finance administrator. Julie leads our finance department where she oversees billing, collections, and negotiates in-network contracts and third-party financing. She is proud to work with her talented team of dentists and coworkers. In her free time, Julie loves spending time in the sun, especially where there is a beach. She also loves spending time with her new grandson Camden and her son, Christian.
Amy – Business Relations Administrator
Amy is our business relations administrator. She is responsible for our social media, such as Facebook, Google+, Instagram, and Twitter. She is also the person you will talk to when asking for a sponsorship, donation, or charity contribution. Amy and her husband Shane live in Grove City with their two children Hannah and Nolen. She enjoys attending all of their sons’ basketball games.
Aaron – Facility Administrator
As facility administrator, Aaron is responsible for maintaining our wonderful facility. He also always makes sure all of our equipment is operating seamlessly. Aaron lives in Ashville with his beautiful wife Chelsea and their four children, Hunter, Gracie, Graycin, and Gaxon. He loves spending time with his family in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping, and enjoys watching them ride their horse. He also enjoys watching OSU football. Aaron is a Marine, though he’s not active.

Our department is dedicated to patient education, team efficiency, and complete excellence.
In addition to being an EFDA, Kristen is also one of our dental hygienists. She works directly with patients by providing regular cleanings, treatment of periodontal disease, placement of fillings, and home-care education. Kristen loves to see her patients every six months so that she can catch up on all the fun and exciting things that have happened in their lives. She lives in Grove City with her husband, Kurt and their adorable baby, Kellan! They also have a pug dog named Kona. When she’s not cleaning teeth, Kristen enjoys spending time with her family, and if she gets free time, she enjoys jogging and shopping.
As a registered dental hygienist, Sara performs all aspects of dental hygiene including cleanings, root planing, and taking radiographs. She enjoys the interactions she has with her patients. It means a lot to Sara if she can do one small thing for each of our patients to help them feel better about themselves. Her goal is to inform her patients of the importance of good oral health and the connection it can have on their overall health. Sara loves working with children and making them have a fun experience. She lives on a family farm in Madison County where she raises show pigs with her husband DJ and two sons, Colt and Cooper. They enjoy spending time outdoors camping and riding four-wheelers. Sara spends a lot of her time in the summer at the Buckeye show circuit where her boys show pigs.
Heather has been with our office since 2007 and brings more than 15 years of experience to our team. As a registered dental hygienist she provides therapeutic care to help patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health. Heather enjoys working with her patients providing a valuable health care service, while establishing a trusting relationship. Heather lives in Grove City with her husband Nick. She stays busy with her three sons Dennis, Boston, Braxton, and stepdaughter Karli. She enjoys watching her kids play sports, spending time outside, and vacationing on the beach with her family.
Alicia graduated from Shawnee State University in early 2013 with her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. In addition, she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies from Ohio University. Alicia is a passionate, enthusiastic hygienist who is devoted to providing optimum care to her patients. She loves creating lasting relationships with her patients and educating them about their oral health. Alicia lives in Grove City with her boyfriend Zak and cat, Simba. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, walking, watching movies, country music, and shopping.
Amy has more than 18 years of dental experience and joined Grove City Family Dentistry in 1999 as one of our dental assistants. Along with dental hygiene and dental assisting, Amy was also our operations manager for many years. She has enjoyed being part of the growth and development of Grove City Family Dentistry. Amy has found her true passion with dental hygiene and is dedicated to delivering quality patient care that is safe, effective, and individualized. It is important for her to provide a comfortable, friendly environment for her patients. Amy is also involved within her community, where she attends school-based oral hygiene education, health fairs, and health promotion events. In her free time, Amy enjoys time with her husband Matt and their two boys, Myles and Ryan. They all enjoy traveling, camping, and cheering on the Chicago Bears. Amy and Matt are active in their church and enjoy participating in outreach programs. Amy realizes she has been blessed and believes strongly in trying to give back.
Sammi is a member of the team, in the triage position, where she performs a wide range of procedures throughout the office including new patient appointments, hygiene appointments, assisting the dentists, and placing a variety of restorations. She graduated from the Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene, as well as becoming licensed as an EFDA. You may recognize Sammi because she previously worked as a front desk receptionist. She is thrilled to back in the office, doing her dream job. She will always provide the best of care to patients from the clinical perspective! In her spare time, Sammi enjoys running, going to movies, spending time with friends and family, and reading.
Sarah grew up as a patient at GCFD and decided to become a dental hygienist because of her positive experiences at this office. She loves making an anxious patient feel comfortable with getting their dental cleanings and visiting the dentist! Sarah lives in Grove City with her husband Bill and their two dogs. She enjoys hanging out with her family, crafting, reading, and going to the movies.
As the Invisalign® coordinator at our office, Alli sees all of our patients who are interested in changing their smiles! Alli comes with six years of orthodontic experience, and is also licensed as a registered dental hygienist. She loves watching patients gain confidence as they begin to love the way their smiles look. When not at the office, Alli enjoys spending time with her husband Aaron and their son, Tyson! She loves to be outside camping, fishing, visiting her family in Waverly, and going to the beach!
As one of our triage coordinators, Brittani has a position that allows a wide variety of procedures. These include hygiene appointments, placing restorations, assisting the dentists, and seeing new patients. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental hygiene along with becoming licensed as an EFDA. She loves meeting new people and building relationships with our patients to make them feel comfortable while they are here. She has had a passion for dentistry ever since she was a little girl.
Brittani grew up in an Air Force family who, she enjoys spending her spare time with. She also loves to spend time with her friends, cooking and traveling.
Rachael graduated from The Ohio State University in May 2015 with a Bachelor’s of Science from the College of Dentistry. She received her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Columbus State Community College in 2014. Rachael is passionate about the dental field and providing the highest standards of care and upmost comfort to her patients. She is a certified administrator of local anesthetic and nitrous oxide.
Rachael is actively involved in the American Dental Hygiene Association at the national, state and local levels. She believes it is very important to be an advocate of good dental health and link it to overall health and well-being. Rachael makes contributions to the community by participating in charitable fundraising activities and volunteering for different organizations. Outside of work, Rachael enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
Jessica graduated from Shawnee State University in 2009 with an Associate’s degree in Applied Science for Dental Hygiene She has been very passionate about dentistry since she was 19 years old when she started in this field as a dental assistant. She loves to establish trust relationships with her patients, educate them on their oral health and learn about their lives and families.
Jessica lives in Ross county with her husband Mick and their two cats, Jade and Zoey. In her spare time Jessica enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, kayaking and hiking. When she is not outside, she is spending time with family and possibly doing some antique shopping.
Expanded Functions Dental Assistants and Dental Assistants
As the Dental Assistants and Expanded Functions Department, it is our mission to provide the most complete and comprehensive care possible in an environment in which our patients feel welcomed, comfortable, and safe. We are a highly trained and experienced group of individuals who take pride in our work and guarantee quality in every aspect of our job. Our patients will have complete confidence and satisfaction in our abilities to treat as well as educate them about their oral health.

Amy began her dental career in 1995 and joined our team in 2011. As an EFDA, she enjoys helping patients who have a fear of dentistry become more comfortable during their appointments while also educating them on the importance of preventive care and maintenance. Amy and her husband Scott have two children, Carter and Caroline. She enjoys watching her son play baseball, working in the yard, and exercising. She also enjoys volunteering as an EMT in her township.
Tracee, as one of our EFDAs, is certified to place fillings, sealants, and perform all other assistant duties. She loves the artistic side of dentistry, as well as the reward of making someone happy by enhancing their smile or relieving their pain. Tracee enjoys the family atmosphere of our office and the passion our doctors show towards dentistry. Tracee has a wonderful husband of 17 years and two beautiful kids, Kyle and Kira. After work is finished for the day, she enjoys watching her kids play hockey and has been known to gear up and hit the ice with the Women’s League out of Newark.
Michelle is a part of our EFDA team, so she places restorations and provides preventive care. She joined our office in 2005 and has almost 25 years of experience in the dental field. It is Michelle’s goal to make each patient feel like a friend, especially if a patient is fearful of the dentist. Michelle lives in the Short North. She has three kids, Ezra, Nya, and Torrey. Two of her children currently attend the Ohio State University, where her daughter plays soccer. Michelle enjoys traveling to New York where she visits her eldest son. Michelle also loves her two grand cats.
Nicole joined our team in 2009 as an EFDA. She can be found placing preventive and/or restorative fillings or designing our in-office CEREC® crowns. Her favorite part of being on our dental team is the relationships she has built with our patients. She enjoys talking to patients not only about their dental needs, but also to catch up with them, as a friend. Nicole and her husband have an Australian shepherd named Samoa, and in their free time they love to exercise and spend time with friends and family.
Tonya graduated from Briggs High School in 1999. She attended the Fort Hayes Metropolitan Education Center and received certification in dental assisting. In 2007. Tonya attended the Ohio State University to acquire her EFDA license. She has worked in our office since August of 2004 and is a current resident of Groveport. Tonya enjoys spending time with her daughters Alexis and Kinley.

Sarah recently finished dental assisting school. She works in our sterilization department, where she demonstrates high-quality standards to maintain and sterilize our instruments. She also works along with assisting the doctors, hygienists, and assistants when needed. Sarah looks forward to going back to school to become an EFDA in the near future. In her spare time, she enjoys working out as well as running. She also greatly enjoys making memories with her family, friends, and dog, Nova.

Tina is Dr. Oiler’s scheduling coordinator, so she greets patients on the phone, takes care of them after their appointment, and makes sure they are scheduled for their next appointment. She has worked in the dental field for almost 30 years, joining our team in 2007. In that time, Tina has seen many patients leave our office with healthy, happy smiles. Tina is married to her high school sweetheart, Marc. They enjoy spending time together and playing with their golden retriever, Bella. They also love traveling, watching movies, and going out to dinner together.
Katie is our Front Desk Administrator and also Dr. Mitchell's scheduling coordinator. Katie is always smiling and ready to help. She loves to meet new people and see how dentistry can change lives in such a positive way. Katie and her husband Ryan have a cat named Gizzy and a dog, Bella. She has been riding horses for 20 years and competed competitively in barrel racing.
Barb is our insurance coordinator and helps patients with all aspects of their insurance needs. She is their advocate to the insurance companies, so she submits all claims on behalf of our patients. Barb enjoys being in a position to assist patients in making their dental care as hassle-free as possible. Barb is married with two cats, two children, and six grandchildren. She loves God, her family, friends, and relaxing in the yard or at the pool.
Anne joined Grove City Family Dentistry in June 2013, bringing 20 years of experience in the field of Dentistry, Medical, and Chiropractic, Anne is the new-patient coordinator and will be gathering all the new patient information, including verification of insurance benefits. Anne will also cover other areas in the office, as needed. She is excited to have joined such an innovative and caring dental practice. Anne loves travel, dining out, crafting, and spending time with family. She and her husband, Daryl, have three wonderful children who have given them six grandchildren.
Ann has been in the dental field for six years and started at GCFD in 2012, after she moved to Grove City from Memphis, Tennessee. Ann is Dr. Niemic’s scheduling and treatment coordinator. Along with her husband and three children she lives with her adorable granddaughter Chanler, and playful puppy Cooper. In her spare time she loves watching her son play baseball and spending time with her granddaughter. Ann also enjoys reading, spending time on the water, and vacationing with her family.
Hannah started at GCFD as our part-time greeter and has since been promoted as a scheduling coordinator. Along with working part-time, Hannah is currently a student at the Ohio State University. Hannah enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Big Papi. She also has a passion for Spanish and loves using it when she gets the opportunity!
Lisa is one of our greeters who will greet you with a warm smile and is always willing to assist. Lisa has been married to her husband Bob for more than 20 years. They have two children, Megan and Brandon. Lisa enjoys music, travel, animals, and spending time with her family. In her spare time she plays the flute and piccolo in the Dublin Wind Symphony. She also teaches private music lessons in the Grove City and Ashville areas.
